MEMBERSHIP GUIDANCE

Members must be Ghanaian citizens and people of Ghanaian heritage living globally and working within the fields of academia, science or studying at the postgraduate research level. The Society has variety of membership classes open to prospective applicants

ASSOCIATE OVERSEAS MEMBERSHIP
(£50 ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FEE)

Associate overseas membership is open to academics and researchers working globally. The Society welcomes applications for such membership from colleagues working in other jurisdictions and values the contribution such members make to its activities.

EARLY CAREER SCHOLARS CONCESSION (£30 ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FEE)

Members who join while studying for a doctorate or within the first three years of starting a full-time academic position will receive a discount membership from the application date

FELLOWS
(£60 ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FEE)

Ordinary membership is open to those who are researchers or teach in any discipline (whether on a full- or part-time basis) at degree level globally. The Society also welcomes applications from those in academic-related posts ancillary to teaching and research, such as law librarians. Salaried research staff and postgraduate students registered for a research degree are also eligible to become Fellows.

Ordinary membership is also available to any other person involved in academic scholarship (for example, to industry practitioners involved in academic scholarship).
