Accommodation, Catering and Trip
All conference proceedings will take place at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. The Gala Dinner will take place on (Thursday evening) 18th June 2026. The venue will be announced soon. Afro–Music would be the hallmark of the evening, so come with your dancing shoes. The cost of the Gala Dinner is included in the registration fee. Due to limited room availability and high demand, individuals are advised to book their rooms in advance. International attendees are advised to book their accommodation before their visa application.
How to book your hotel room
Clayton Hotel Cambridge – convenient for delegates arriving by train.
Hilton Cambridge City Centre - centrally located, good for international delegates.
University Arms Hotel - close to the colleges, slightly more premium option.
Travelodge Cambridge Central - budget hotel and friendly service. Near the train station.
For travel, most delegates either arrived via Stansted Airport (direct train to Cambridge – 40 minutes) or London airports (Heathrow/Gatwick with train connections). Once in Cambridge, we recommended walking where possible or using taxis and buses for longer distances.
